Agnijaat and Agnishatdal Update 7.6.17

A bit back, I’d mentioned the change in plans for selling the eZines, Agnijaat (“Fireborn”) and Agnishatdal (“The Lotus of Fire”) on this blog.

While the online store owned and operated by my partner, Miss Sharmishtha Basu, She of Many Blogs, has been shifted entirely to her ownership, I’m looking at options to do my part, largely taking an approach uncharacteristically methodical for me.

I’m making plans for distributing all 20 back issues of both eZines, plus the current issues for the month (Bengali calendar) of Jyeshtha on the Exohuman Journals as a side project as well as her own separate enterprise.

So, in preparation, I’m restoring the Agnijaat and Agnishatdal pages for this site, plus the sticky post for my own stores on Amazon and deviantART, all three to add to over the current and next few months.

Paypal checkout will be a possibility for the eZines, but again, I’ll clarify my objectives and how to meet them using a few findings and tips I’ve uncovered over the past few weeks. If needed, I’ll link from the eZines’ pages here to her online store once that’s up and operating. Two venues, hers and mine, are better than just one, and no matter the outcome, she gets half the profits.

This will require close examination of the possibilities and options, and in the time I’ll take, enough room to make them happen but without making any promises at this point.

Update on the Agnijaat and Agnishatdal ezines

G’day, peeps! It’s been a bit since last updating this site, and during this weekend I’m making changes across all of my WordPress blogs, including this one. I’m adding pages. I’ve updated themes and headers, with more of that to follow today and Sunday. I’m working on posts for the coming work week.

But that’s not why I’m posting this.

I mentioned a while ago plans to market the twin ezines, Agnijaat and Agnishatdal, on this blog. During the intervening time, the amazing Sharmishtha Basu and I have agreed to a change of plans, so I’ve temporarily taken down the pages for those ezines until the new plan goes into effect.

What would that be?

Sharmishtha has made me the editor of the ezines from here on, and rather than my selling them through this blog, she’s decided to set up her own online bookstore and sell them from there.

Once that goes into effect, I’ll link to her online store from this blog’s Agnijaat and Agnishatdal pages after restoring those.

My own plans involve expanding the range of venues for my own works, as I’m currently selling only on Amazon and deviantART. I’ve set my sights on iBooks, Google Books, SmashWords and others to widen the outlets available.

I’ll keep you updated as I make progress.

I’m writing another short story, maybe a bit longer than others, involving my adorable and fluffy alien time god Sarusammog of the Gates, and a couple of other characters yet to be revealed, and I’ll add to the manuscript as I continue to generate ideas.

Coming Soon, Sharmishtha Basu’s Agnijaat and Agnishatdal eZines!

Hey, guys. I’m in the process of setting up purchase options for two eZines (Full disclosure: I contribute to one of them, Agnishatdal.), by the amazing and talented Sharmishtha Basu. One, Agnijaat, features her own work, while Agnishatdal features a mix of material from contributors from around the world and Miss Basu’s own material. Together, these shine light on artistic and literary talents (of which I am neither) from India and abroad.

These eZines are to be sold in PDF form, and on this site will be available to purchase via PayPal from their own pages once I set everything up. Both current issues and back issues will be available on each page, so I’ll be updating each page each month as new issues come out. I’m experimenting with options currently, and will keep you updated on this as progress is made.

Stay tuned!

New Announcement for My Amazon Store!

I’m happy to say that I’ve joined in a writing and publishing collaboration with the awesome and talented Miss Sharmishtha Basu, hailing from Kolkata, West Bengal. You don’t need me to tell you what country that’s in!

So, she’s in the process of rewriting some of her ebooks for Kindle, releasing quite a few more in the near future, one of which, Gehenna Parables, Part 1, is awaiting a few touch-ups to be published on my Amazon store under both our names due the 28th of this month as per her request.

I’ve mostly served as its editor, though I’ve contributed one story to it, the author bios and the book’s introduction and formatted it for upload on the tail end of the 27th, just in time to go live on the 28th.

I’ll also be editing quarterlies of her twin eZines, Agnijaat, and Agnishatdal, and other shared projects as they come up.

Do check them out, and by all means, buy them!
